Once upon a time (which is to say, 1990), three eighth-grade girls from a quiet town in Virginia sent a story to their favorite animated show, which just happened to have as its executive producer one of the most famous directors in Hollywood.
And at least one of those three girls kept journals. šI was Renee Carter then; I’m Renee Carter Hall now (and that’s a part of the story, too, by the way). This blog, created to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Tiny Toon Adventures episode “Buster and Babs Go Hawaiian,” explores what happened before, during, and after the biggest adventure of my thirteen-year-old life.
If you’re interested in what I’m doing now (spoiler alert: I’m still writing), check out my personal website at http://www.reneecarterhall.com.
